Los Alumnos

Los Alumnos was started in 2002 as a program designed for adopted adults who are former participants of PLAC activities. This includes former La Semana campers and Corazon Latino dancers, whether adoptees or non-adoptees.

The Los Alumnos program is not only a chance to reconnect with fellow former campers or dancers, it is an opportunity to give back to the community and continue PLAC’s mission: to support Latine adoptees and create a place for them to learn about their cultural heritage

All activities are organized and carried out by volunteer Alumni. Past events have included dinners, picnics, dance class, and donning signature tie-dye tees while volunteering the week of La Semana.
